LakeComoApp is an app to know the highlights of the city of Como and its famous lake, in the most customized and interactive way. It will be useful both for local residents and tourists to plan, visit and experience the sense of place.

Among the most innovative features we point out:

The possibilty to select your preferences and then receive a customized itineray according to your interests.

Audioguide: Siris voice will read you through the descriptions while you dont need to take your eyes off the beautiful sights around you.

Augmented reality: if you are visiting the city or exploring the lake area, you can point your iPhone camera to the monuments and get all information in real time.

News: the app keeps you constantly updated on local news thank to a link to the local newspaper "La Provincia". A Widget enables you to read the news directly from the lock screen.

Activating VoiceOver, the user inteface gets automatically redesigned in order to facilitate the acces to visually impaired and blind people. A voice feature will guide the user browsing the different screenshots.
